The Apprentice Ambassador Network
The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN) is a group of employers and former and current apprentices. They volunteer their time to encourage and inspire more young people to pursue high-quality apprenticeships as a vibrant career path.
Benefits for employer ambassadors
As an ambassador, you can:
- connect with apprentices and other organisations
- share experiences with other employers
- grow the profile of your organisation
- enhance your employee base
What an apprenticeship ambassador does
You’ll support and influence people with an interest in apprenticeships, including schools, colleges, local enterprise partnerships, employers and their supply chains, trade associations and employment bodies. Ambassadors also support marketing, publicity and events to raise awareness of apprenticeships, and mentor other ambassadors.
How much time is involved?
By signing up to become an ambassador, you agree to:
- be a member for at least 1 year
- volunteer approximately half a day per month or 6 events or activities per year
